| Description | This hat and cowl set are the epitome of cosy and knit up quickly in a bulky, super-soft alpaca like Baby Alpaca Grande from Plymouth Yarn. The big cables form an arcade pattern, with ribbing at the edges to prevent curling. The hat is topped off with a big, fuzzy pom-pom! The hat and cowl are both knit in the round so there is no seaming. Both have a cabled arch design that requires a cable needle or spare DPN. The pom-pom is made with a Clover Pom-Pom maker, but could easily be made with other methods. The cowl uses Jeny’s Surprisingly Stretchy Bind Off to make it more elastic. Testers can choose to knit just the hat, just the cowl, or both! |
