Snow Days

This textured wrap is worked flat and incorporates different texture patterns separated by garter stitch bands. Starting at the narrowest point, the stitch count increases by one stitch every fourth row to create an elongated triangle. Sample was worked with approximately 500 yd/458 m worsted weight wool, but the pattern is easily adjustable to any amount of yarn.

Sample as shown is 66"/167.5 cm long by 27"/68.5 cm wide. 

Testers can work wrap to their desired size, but must provide accurate yardage used and complete at least 2 repeats of the texture sequence (8 texture blocks with 9 garter stitch bands).

Knitting, purling, increasing (kfb), casting on and binding off

US 9/5.5 mm needles for working flat (circular or straight as preferred)

Tapestry needle to weave in ends

• Feedback on pattern accuracy and readability
• Pictures of finished, blocked wrap (including a modelled shot please) by end of test period
• Create a Ravelry project page with pictures by the end of the test period
• Complete a short survey after the test is finished
