|Required or recommended yarn||At least 132 (175.5) yards / 121 (160.5) meters of 100% Alpaca DK/light worsted weight yarn, in three colors as follows: Color 1 - 33 (44) yards / 30 (40) meters. Colors 2 & 3 - 49.5 (65.75) yards / 45 (60) meters each. Sample is worked and shown in Juniper Moon Farm “Herriot” (now listed on Ravelry as “Herriot Heather” or “Herriot Heathers”) 100% baby alpaca in colors #01 Talc; #04 Walnut; and #03 Bullrush.|
Size 6 U.S. / 4 mm knitting needles (DPNs and/or 16” / 40 cm circular as you prefer for knitting in the round) or size to obtain gauge, a set of DPNs or 16” / 40 cm circular needle in one size smaller than needed for gauge, a yarn needle, and 8 stitch markers (1 unique, 7 matching).
