Description

A loose fitting cardigan that makes you feel like you are wearing a hug.  This pattern begins as a simple rectangle and then magically transforms into a comfortable shrug style cardigan with minimal folding and sewing, making it the perfect project for beginners who wish to build on their skills to create a unique crochet item for their wardrobe.

 

Pattern includes schematics and instructions for seaming.

 

SIZE: One Size (40” Tall by 45” wide Rectangle).

MATERIALS:  5 skeins (3.5 oz, 604 yards each) Expression Fiber Arts Sincere Sock Yarn. Shown in: A - New Gray (3 skeins), B - Test Color (1 skein), C - Test Color 2 (1 skein).

Any Sock weight yarn will work for the test!

COLOR A: approximately 1800 yards

COLOR B: approximately 200 yards

COLOR C: approximately 200 yards

 

HOOK: US Size H (5.00 mm).

 

OTHER TOOLS AND SUPPLIES: Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

 

GAUGE: 18 sts/4 inches and 12 rows/4 inches in hdc.
