Cara Cara

Job type Test knit
Description

Cara Cara is an oversized tee with drop shoulders and a V-neck. It has a pattern of huge orange slices around the body.

Sizes
The range of sizes can accommodate actual bust sizes of 28”-70” (71-178 cm). However, due to the size of the colorwork pattern and the oversized style, the distance between sizes is quite large. Try to choose a size with approximately 4-8” (10-20 cm) of positive ease. If you are between sizes, I recommend choosing the larger size.

Sample is shown in size 3 on a 43” (109 cm) bust for 4.75” (12 cm) of ease.

This pattern includes sizes 1 (2, 3, 4) (5, 6, 7).

Finished bust measurements: 34.25 (41, 47.25, 54.75) (61.5, 68.5, 75.25) inches, or 87 (104.5, 121.5, 139) (156.5, 174, 191) cm.

Gauge
Stockinette Stitch on Needle B: 26 sts by 32 rows = 4" (10cm) in stockinette or stranded colorwork.

Yarn
Any heavy fingering or light sport weight yarn that meets gauge.

Yardage calculations include approximately 5% excess.

MC: 662 (849, 1019, 1214) (1422, 1643, 1880) yards.
606 (777, 931, 1110) (1300, 1503, 1719) meters.

For a longer body, allow an additional 37 (44, 51, 59) (66, 73, 80) yards or 33 (40, 47, 53) (60, 67, 73) meters per inch of added length.
