Job type | Test knit |
Description | This design is meant to bring out the best from a VERY variegated yarn, used as CC. So if you have this pretty clown-looking yarn that you don't know what to use for - this is it! The design is a classic top-down yoked sweater; starting from the neck, increasing across the yoke and then separating for sleeves. The body is worked straight and finished with seed stitches. Sleeves are worked in MC and finished with CC seed sts. On my sample I did a bit of colorwork on the sleeves but I didn’t like it so I omitted it in the pattern. I like my sleeves rather short but feel free to make them full length, however the yardage is stated for ½ sleeve. The collar is finished with an I-cord.
