Kryla

Job type Test knit
Description

Kryla combines Echo knitting with lace elements and color details created using dip stitches. The result is a textured fabric that’s both intricate and expressive.
Because the Echo-knitting garter stitch grows more in width and less in height than standard garter stitch, the usual top-down triangle shaping had to be adjusted: instead of four increases every two rows, this shawl uses six. The final shape is slightly shallower and noticeably wider than a typical triangular shawl.
At the bottom edge, the motif becomes more elaborate, and a play of picots and detached i-cord in the BO adds lightness and movement
