Hello, I’m Alyssa! I live just outside the Twin Cities area in Minnesota. Besides knitting, I also enjoy cooking/baking, reading and hanging out with my Corgi, Nova. You can see more of my everyday life on my personal Instagram account @conversebear. I have always loved crafting and being creative. I didn’t learn to knit until 2013, but as soon as I knew how to knit, purl and bind off, I started gathering/creating ideas for knitted items. In the fall of 2019, I finally took the steps to learn how to design my own patterns. Most of my inspiration comes from the arts: painting, films, books, television, music. I love the challenge of finding the right textures and colors to bring the theme to life—and I hope knitters will love my patterns, but make it their own by choosing their own colors or adding embellishments.
