As a teenager, I taught myself to crochet sweaters and imaginative, sculptural monsters. Later, my aunt taught me how to knit socks and I haven’t set down my needles since.
I make recycled-textile accessories under the name Frog & Woad (often using reclaimed thrift-store sweater yarn and natural dyes). I have a background in made-to-measure sewing and enjoy various textile crafts, everything from rug-making to thread painting.
I enjoy trying new techniques and unusual types of garment construction, and I love creating colourful and unique designs.
