| Description | Skill Level: Intermediate Comfortable, loose, pullover with drop shoulder sleeves and ballet neckline combines cables, lace, and reversed stockinette designed specifically for hand-dyed variegated yarn. Panels of cables and lace transition into reversed stockinette for a contemporary inside-out look. Sleeves feature a tier effect of columns of lace. It is worked seamlessly in the round from the bottom up, divided at the armholes and joined with three-needle bind off at the shoulders. Sleeves are picked up around the armhole and worked in the round down to the cuff. Size shown is M with 4”/10cm positive ease FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: YARN: Rising Tide Fiber Co, Calvert DK, (231yds/211m, 3.5oz/100g, 100% Superwash Merino: Yuletide, 5 (6, 7, 7) [8, 9, 9] hanks Total Yarn Needed: 1117 (1257, 1377, 1533) [1677, 1828, 1981] yds Gauge: In Rev St st: 22 sts & 32 rnds = 4”/10cm after blocking The body is worked in the round from the bottom up, divided at the armholes, then each front and back are worked flat. Shoulders are joined with three-needle bind off. Stitches are picked up around the armhole for the drop shoulder sleeves, which are worked in the round from the top down to the cuff. There is no underarm shaping. The pattern is written out and charted, with schematics.

| Skills required | Techniques used in this pattern include: knitting in the round basic cables single decreases three-needle bind off purlwise (step-by-step written instructions and video tutorial included) Instructions for working each of the techniques is included. It’s helpful if you’re familiar with them but not necessary. You should be able to learn each technique by working from the instructions.

You don't need to use a variegated yarn, and you can choose a solid or tonal color if you'd like. But if you'd like to use variegated, just know that the stitch patterns were selected to make the most of these types of yarn. Yarn used in sample is Rising Tide Fiber Co, Calvert DK in color Yuletide. |
