Amber Waves Travel Wrap


This pattern works up quickly with two stitch repeats through the body sections creating interesting texture that opens up beautifully when blocked. It features a simple armhole structure and basic color work with two colors, making it a perfect project for beginner crocheters who would like to expand their crocheting and garment making skills.


Sample is worked in size small/medium.


Hooks used include size K (6.50mm) for the trim and size J (6.00mm) for the body.


Yarn Used is 5(6, 7) skeins (3.5 oz, 275 yards each) Expression Fiber Arts Sparkle DK Yarn. Shown in Caramel Popcorn {MC, 4(5, 6) skeins} and Gray Pearl {CC, 1 skein}. If those colors aren’t available, any shade from this category will work.


Sizes included in the pattern are Small/Medium, Large/X-Large, 2X-Large/3X-Large {S/M (L/XL, 2XL/3XL)}.

The designer has created the following milestones, in order to keep track of progress during the test knit. By marking off each milestone as you complete it, you can easily keep the designer up to date with your progress.

2019-03-19: Have first trim section completed
2019-03-22: Have body section completed to first armhole.
2019-03-29: Have body section completed to last armhole.
2019-04-02: Have body section and last trim section completed.
2019-04-05: Have entire wrap completed, blocked, and photos taken.
