| Required or recommended yarn | 2 skeins of fingering-weight yarn in contrasting colors. Sample used 165 yards (141 meters) of the main color and 116 yards (105 meters) of the contrasting color. Solid colors with high contrast is preferred, lightly tonal yarns can work as well. The yarn should be 100% wool. |
