Pine + Oak Sweater

About:

The Pine + Oak Sweater is a yoke colour-work sweater, knit entirely in the round and from the top down. Stranded colour-work appears around the yoke and on the sleeve cuffs.

Yarn Used: 

Twisted Willow Merino Linen Singles Yarn, Fingering Weight Yarn

90% Superwash Merino, 10% Linen, 394 yds (360 m)/ 100g skein

Colours: Moss (MC) and Cinnamon (CC)

Sizing: 

Pattern comes in 8 sizes. Although it was designed to be loose-fitting, with around 2 inches (5 cm) of positive ease, you can choose a garment size with more or less ease, for a different fit:

Intermediate knitting skills. Requires experience with 2-colour stranded colour-work and catching floats in stranded colour-work. Requires standard increasing/decreasing (M1, SSK, and K2tog).

Tapestry Needle

12 stitch markers (including one unique one)

2 sets of each of the following (to use magic loop method):

• US 2 (2.75 mm) circular needles, length 18” (45.5 cm)or longer

• US 3 (3.25 mm) circular needles, length 32” (81.5 cm) or longer

• US 4 (3.5 mm) circular needles, length 32” (81.5 cm) or longer

Finish the sweater. Create a Ravelry Project at the start of the test and mark the ‘pattern name’ as ‘TEST-KS-T8TH3M’. Include any photos of progress and finished results in this project. When finished, complete the following survey:
