Description | My first shawl design is a smaller crescent shaped shawl knit in a simple, easy to remember garter stitch lace with increases on the right and wrong side. Once the lace repeats are completed you'll knit on more garter stitch lace while binding off at the same time. Yarn: Fingering weight Yardage: Approximately 400 - 450 yards (366 - 411 meters) Shown in: JaggerSpun Heather, 100% wool, 100g, 498 yards, Color Leaf Needles: US 5 (3.75mm) circular in 40″ / 100cm length or size needed to obtain gauge. Choose a larger size needle for a largershawl. Please note, using a larger needle will require more yarn. Notions: Tapestry needle Gauge: 16 st & 44 rows = 4" (10cm) in garter stitch lace pattern. Gauge can be flexible as larger needles Finished Measurements: 68" long & 14" deep |

Complete the shawl by the testing deadline. Provide feedback about the yarn you used (yarn weight, brand, etc), needle size used and finished item's measurements. Create a Ravelry project with testing code provided. Provide at least one picture of the finished shawl.
