____

Isn't it amazing how our clothes sometimes can affect our mood and boost ourconfidence? How putting on your favorite sweater can set you up for a good day? For mePOISE is just that sweater. As soon as I put it on I feel calm, warm, elegant and graceful.

And it is such a fun and carefree knit, too. POISE is worked seamlessly from the top down. You first cast on stitches for the neckband and shape the neckline with short rows. Thenyou work the entertaining yoke that features both stranded colorwork and an easy to worktextured stitch that almost looks like cables. When the yoke it complete, you split for bodyand sleeves and cast on a few extra stitches at the underarm for a perfect fit. The bodyand the sleeves are then worked in the round.

I hope you will enjoy POISE just as much as I do! Happy knitting!
