Avenue Slipover

Job type Test knit
Description

Avenue is a V-neck slipover with a simple pattern panel created by knitted and purled stitches.

I thought of the tranquil feeling of looking at a straight road lined with trees in the middle of fields. Depending on your color choice, knit your Avenue pattern as a spring, summer, autumn or winter landscape - let your color sense decide.

The pattern is given as a chart. As it contains only kitted and purled stitches, it is easy to knit.

We would like to see the pattern tested in different yarns of matching gauge, so you do not have to use the yarn used for the sample version and even not the yarn alternatives recommended in the pattern draft.

  • Use Comment Function here in Chat Room in YarnPond to provide updates and to let me know if see an error or a need for clarification.
  • Use Chat Room if any questions about pattern.

  • Let me know via message if any concerns or issues arise in ability to complete test in timeline (life does happen)
  • Send total yarn used for your size to …(me) ....can post it in Chat Room and I'll also include it as a question for end of test.  Please let me know if you think there's an adjustment needed in the estimate!
  • Set up project page in Ravelry to include yardage used, size made, and any approved mods.  (If not a Ravelry user, we can work around that.).
  • Please give the pattern a good rating (5) on Ravelry after it's published....we need to make whatever changes are needed during the test to ensure that a 5 is an honest rating....in other words, it's why we test.  If we can't get it there by the end of the test then I won't publish it.  Also, the rating does not reflect any changes needed during the test cycle; the rating is for the pattern at the end of the test
