THE ABOVE LINK ALSO INCLUDES DETAILED SCHEMATICS FOR EACH SIZE AND UP-TO-DATE INFORMATION ABOUT WHAT SIZES ARE AVAILABLE FOR TESTING.

Thistle Thicket is a circular yoke pullover knit seamlessly from the top-down. The yoke is constructed with two-color stranded colorwork and following this, raglan shaping to help the bottom of the yoke sit more comfortably against the underarm . The colorwork is carefully constructed to minimize float catching as much as possible.

Thistle Thicket includes 10 sizes with a finished chest circumference of 34" to 70" (86.5 to 178 cm). For each of these 10 sizes, two sizes are graded based on shoulder widths, which is one of the primary ways bodies proportionally vary for those with the same bust size.  Choose to make the Narrow Shoulder size if you find that the shoulders on womenswear garments fit you well or the shoulders of menswear garments are too wide. Choose to make the Broad Shoulder size if you find that the shoulders on menswear garments fit or the shoulders on womenswear garments are too narrow. If you are in between, choose the Shoulder sizing that is closest to your body's cross back width listed below.

There are several modifications for this sweater included in the pattern including 1) an easy to adapt recipe for bust darts to add length to the front of the sweater for those with large differences between their full bust and upper bust, 2) instructions for full length and cropped length sweaters, 3) optional waist decreases to give a vintage "puffed" look to the body of the sweater (seen in all of the sample pics).

My sample is a Broad Shoulder size 4, with 6" (15 cm) of positive ease through the full chest. The garment is constructed using the full lengths, with the optional waist decreases. You can find the charts and schematic in images below. Choose a size with 2 to 6" (5 to 15 cm) of positive ease through the full chest.
