Reveries Tee

REVERIES is a wonderfully light and soft summer tee with a marvellous drape. Made from pure silk, it is a timeless and elegant garment that is easy to wear and layer.

The cable and eyelet details at the neckline and hem of the body and sleeves add that certain something to this easy-to-work Stockinette project.

REVERIES is worked seamlessly from the top down. You first cast on stitches for the neckband and shape the neckline with short rows. Then you work a circular yoke, split forbody and sleeves and cast on a few extra stitches at the underarm for a perfect fit. The body and the sleeves are then worked in the round.

CHOOSING A SIZE

REVERIES is intended to be worn with  3 - 6 cm / 1.25 - 2.25 ' of positive ease around the bust. This means that the garment is supposed to be 3 - 6 cm / 1.25 - 2.25 ' larger than your bust circumference.

Example: Your bust circumference is 97 cm / 38.25 '. Then you should choose size 6.

Pictured is a size 6 on a 97 cm / 38.25 ' bust with 3.5 cm / 1.25 ' of positive ease around the bust.

NEEDLES

3mm needles (or size to obtain gauge with) and 2.5mm needles

TOOLS

A tapestry needle or crochet hook to weave in the ends and three stitch markers.

REQUIRED

1. You can meet the deadline (July 15th 2024).
2. You need to get gauge. Working the pattern at a different gauge is not possible.
3. You do not make changes to the pattern without talking to me first.
4. You keep an eye out for the messages here in the yarnpond chat, as this is the ONLY place where I answer questions and annouce potential pattern updates.
   
5. On July 15th 2024 you have
   
   • knit the complete tee, washed and blocked it
     
   • created a Ravelry project page for it that is connected to the pattern (use the pre-release code TEST-HHK-9EGADF to establish the connection)
   • added at least 2 good qualitiy pictures of the worn tee taken outside during daylight to your Ravelry project
   • filled out the feedback form here on yarnpond

OPTIONAL

It would be wonderful if you could share as many pictures as you feel comfortable with on Instagram. Both progress pictures and finished object pictures are welcome. As the release of the Reveries Tee will be in summer, it would be very much appreciated if you'd share pictures then, too. But it is completely optional.

The designer is offering discounted or free pattern(s) to testers

Every tester who meets the requirements will get:

• the updated version of the pattern, when the test is over and the pattern went through a second round of tech editing.
• a 50% discount code that can be used for all my self-published patterns in my Ravelry store. I will send the code out to all testers who met all requirements when the test is over.

The designer has created the following milestones, in order to keep track of progress during the test knit. By marking off each milestone as you complete it, you can easily keep the designer up to date with your progress.
