The shawl is worked from side to side. A six-inch wide Smocking stitch pattern spans over the upper part of the shawl forming a thicker knit fabric. The remaining shawl is worked in garter stitch. The pattern has been Tech. edited.

Measurements are after wash and blocking. Widest span 70" (178 cm) Longest lenght 24" (60 cm)

Construction type Knitted in the flat.
Required or recommended yarn Model is knitted in Drops Alpaca 100% pure Alpaca 167m (182 yds) per 50 g ball. I'm happy for you to use a similar yarn.
Tools required

3.50 mm (U.S. size 4) 32" (80 cm) circular needle or needle size to obtain gauge.

Ownership of the finished item The finished item is yours to keep.

Completed project in Ravelry or Loveknitting.com, linked to the pattern.
