Slip Slidin' My Way

This shawl is a long rectangle with three different slipped stitch patterns separated by sections of stockinette stitch.

There is no shaping, so the stitch patterns are straightforward and easy to remember; by the time you're few rows into each one, you can cruise right through the rest of it.

Needles: US 5/ 3.75mm, or size to obtain gauge, in circular needles, at least 20”/ 50cm.

Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows = 4”/ 10cm over stockinette stitch in Slub, blocked and dried. Differences in gauge will affect drape and yardage requirements.

Yarn:

fingering weight Slub: 420 yards / 385 meters; and

laceweight Mohair: 450 yards / 413 meters.

Notions: tapestry needle to weave in ends.

Yarn used: Emma's Mo'Slub bundle (1 skein of Mohair, 1 skein of Slub) in Morel of the Story
