Job type | Test knit |
Description | Well, my friends, the pattern's come. With the Fall Night Long cowl, you’ll feel the rhythm of autumn with every stitch. Don’t be fooled by the fancy dance steps, though—most of the cowl is worked in stockinette. All of the magic happens in just three rounds, but you’ll totally look like a superstar for it! Designed for worsted weight yarn, you’ll quickly knit your troubles away. The leaves highlight the variegation of a beautiful colorway, but a solid or tonal yarn would be stunning, too. Chart, written instructions, and photo tutorial are given. Pattern is written for 6 sizes, but you may choose to knit a custom length. Choose Short, Moderate, or Long based on range of circumference in size listings. Keep good records of yarn amounts, please. |

Requirements from the maker |
I love it when test knits keep a conversation going throughout. It's our own little KAL. Please check in several times a week with your progress. Create a Ravelry project page with notes (size made, yarn bases and amounts used, photos, etc.). If you don't use Ravelry, please let me know. The key purpose for testing is to identify any errors, omissions, and points of confusion before the pattern is published. Please report any concerns you have when you encounter them; do not wait until the end of the test. If you do find problems, please do not make note of them in your Ravelry notes as these will be cleared up before publication and won't apply to the pattern that others are working from. Please avoid taking photos of your project with the pattern instructions. I know it's trendy and fun to style photos this way, but it is a copyright issue. Share on social media. This isn't a secret design, so feel free to share before, during, and after the test. I have a hard time bragging about myself on social media, so I'll be forever grateful if you can give me a plug or two. Please tag me @bronwyndp and use the hashtag in the pattern: #FallNightLongCowl. I like to share others' projects, so if you don't want me to share your photos, please let me know. |
Rewards from the designer |
I'll send you a free copy of the final pattern when it's released. By default, I send patterns through Ravelry. If you'd prefer to use a different platform, please let me know. |
