Job type | Test knit |
Description | Dock Street is worked top-down in a slipped stitch color striped pattern. Stitches are cast on and markers placed to denote right front, right sleeve, back neck, left sleeve and front. Raglan shaping for front, back and sleeves is worked flat and at the same time the vee neck shaping is completed. Once vee neck shaping is completed and the right and left fronts joined, the remaining raglan shaping is worked in the round to the underarms. The sleeve stitches are then placed on stitch holders or waste yarn, the front and back are joined at the underarms and the body is completed in the round. The body is finished in k2, p2 ribbing. The vee neckline is picked up and the trim worked flat in k2, p2 ribbing. The vee neck trim is stitched down to overlap at the point of the vee. The sleeves stitches are then picked up and worked to the cuff, which is also finished in a k2, p2 ribbing. A shaping table is given for each size. Dock Street can be made in a full or cropped version. Dock Street is a boxy raglan, designed to be worn with 6”-8” / 15 – 20.5 cm, positive ease. Measure your full bust circumference and select a size based on your desired amount of ease. Finished Chest Circumference 34.75 [ 38.5, 42.5, 46.25, 52, 57.5, 61.5, 65.25, 70, 74]” / 88 [ 98, 104, 118, 132, 146, 156, 166, 178, 188] cm |
