Job type | Test knit |
Description | The Kite Tails Socks is a toe-up design that features a cabled lace pattern framed on either side with 1 x 1 cables for the instep and stockinette stitch for the sole of the foot. Increases are then worked for the gusset, keeping in set pattern for the desired size. Short-rows are worked to complete the back of heel; the work is then joined back in the round and the pattern motif is worked around the leg. The cuff is worked in twisted rib and cables that flows from the cabled lace pattern to complete the sock. Only one sock needs to be finished for the test to be finished with test. |

Requirements from the maker |
Create a project page in Ravelry using the test code TEST-LW-HNWQTY as soon as accepted to the test. Report any errors or parts of the pattern that seem unclear. Keep track of yardage used and final circumference measurements. Please check in through the Chat occasionally to let me know your progress. Please do not modify the pattern. The pattern states that the foot/leg length is adjustable so those parts can be worked to desired length. Take one finished photo in natural light (does not need to be modeled) as use that picture for the first picture on the project page. Fill out the Feedback form. |
Rewards from the designer |
The designer is offering discounted or free pattern(s) to testers
Testers that complete all the requirements and finish the test before the end date will receive a coupon code for one free pattern of choice from my self-published patterns in my Ravelry store (this does not include patterns still under third party contract). When the pattern is published, a final copy of the pattern will be gifted to the tester. |
