Sennen Cove

Job type Test knit
Description

Sennen Cove is a lightweight cotton t-shirt with a bust size of 81-164cm (32-64in), designed to be worked with 5-10cm (2-4in) of positive ease. The top is worked from the bottom up in the round and the lace panel is featured on both the front and the back. The body is worked to the armholes and then set aside while you knit the sleeves. All pieces are then joined in the round and decreased for the raglans. The back neck is shaped using German short rows, before joining back into the round to work the neckband. Options are given to work a longer or shorter garment.

Please note - this pattern was already published in a magazine last year, but often the magazines don't get time to have the patterns tested before publishing. After getting my rights back I have made a few changes to the pattern and put it into my own template, so I'd like to make sure it is all clear and easy to follow.

Knitting lace, following instructions for different charts or written instructions on diffferent rows, working a raglan in the round, shaping fronts and sleeves at different rates.

All of this is explained in pattern but I would say it's intermediate/advanced just because there is a few things going on.

Requirements from the maker

Please create a project page and link it to the pattern page when you begin with photographs and notes upon completion.

Please keep me up to date with your progress weekly through the thread and comment on anything you might see as you go along that could be clearer.

I will send a short survey to complete after the test to gather feedback on how you found the pattern, what you found difficult, if you would change anything etc.

Rewards from the designer

The designer is offering discounted or free pattern(s) to testers

Upon completion of the requirements I will provide you with a finished version of the pattern and a code for another pattern from my library. I'm going to be adding a few more patterns this year so there won't be an end date on the code.
