Job type | Test crochet |
Description | The starflower is known for its unusual display of seven petals. It represents the balance of harmony and chaos that is so often found in nature. It’s so helpful to remember that there is a natural ebb and flow of life. My desire in designing and crocheting this blanket is to keep that balance in mind and to find joy in both the hills and the valleys. |

Skills required | Intermediate: Starflower is full of fun and engaging stitches, including slip stitch, single, half single, double, half double, and cute little nupps! My favorite part is the adorable leaf section, which is created by going back and forth in short rows. A video tutorial is available to help with this section. In the starflower section, the first half of the flowers are crocheted on one row and then the second half is finished on the next row. A video tutorial is also available for the starflowers. |
