| Description | Bloomridge is a celebration of Queen City Yarn’s Latta base, a non-superwash Merino/Rambouillet blend yarn that comes in truly amazing colors and is next-to-skin soft. We’ve been trying to work together for years and I feel like we were just waiting for the right pattern – THIS pattern. The crisp definition allows this clever combination of simple stitches to shine, and I really can’t wait for you to feel the fabric this pattern creates. Three colors play together in a simple repeat to create a complicated looking shawl that is so easy to make! Suitable for any level knitter, Bloomridge is sure to be one you’ll want in every color combo! This asymmetrical triangle shawl is worked from one corner out to the bind-off edge, with an increase on every RS row. Only one color is used per row, and all yarn is carried throughout the project, minimizing ends to weave in. You MUST answer all three questions for your application to be considered (not looking for essays, but this will be very helpful for me to have a variety of skilled people helping me now and in the future!) ***EMAIL ADDRESS, INSTAGRAM AND RAVELRY NAMES MUST BE PROVIDED ON APPLIACATION AND USED FOR THIS TEST*** - Completed project page linked to pattern on Ravelry with appropriate information filled in, pattern rating, and images by deadline (or, better, as progress is made!) (unless you cannot use Ravelry) - At least 1 progress picture (high quality prefrerred but not required), posted to Instagram with appropriate hashtags and ravelry project page ( #ClassicRomanceShawll #KaceyKnits #testknit ) - As many photos as you can/want, but at LEAST 1 high quality modeled (ideally - you, your buds, pets, mannequin, etc) or nicely and clearly displayed FO image, posted to instagram with the proper tags and Ravelry project page (once release date is announced. It would be very nice to have an additional photo for after the release, too!) - MUST try your best to complete by deadline, or continue and complete Ravelry page and post on Instagram once completed. - Must be open to communication via Discord (where we all can talk, keep questions and answers visible, and share photos with each other), email (where you'll receive the test pattern and provide final notes), and Instagram in general (I'll reshare photos, tag you, etc). **Please have a public Instagram account if possible** - By applying to this test, you are giving me permission to re-share any images you share on social media in relation to this test (with credit of course) at any time |
