| Description | Fluerelle Blanket was inspired by another blanket I’m currently working on for my niece’s wedding, which is made up entirely of puff flowers. I lovingly named it “the never ending flower blanket”. For Fluerelle, I wanted something that still included these adorable puff flowers, but that also incorporated some other simple crochet stitches so that the blanket could display a beautiful gradient from radiant red in the middle, to deep blue on the outside. |

The cute little puff flowers are slip stitched onto the blanket as they are made, so there is no need to sew them all on later! The circular design can be enjoyed as a blanket or folded over and worn as a cuddly shawl. |

Alternating rows of hdc and dc clusters are intermittently lined with rounds of puff flowers. Puff flowers are attached with slip stitches as they are being crocheted around edge of work. |
