Description | Like a warm hug... Is there any other reason we knit, than to share our love? Maybe we knit for loved family members; maybe we knit for those in need; maybe we knit for ourselves. But behind all of those stitches, I believe the main driving force is love. This cardigan is like being wrapped up in a snuggly warm hug from someone who loves you. Smooth stockinette, cozy garter stitch and squishy brioche combine with simple raglan shaping to make this one of your favourite new comfort knits. Skills required | The only skills you NEED are being able to knit and purl. This cardigan involves increases, decreases, slipping stitches, picking up stitches and knitting small circumferences (sleeves) i.e. using either magic loop or DPNs, but if these skills are all new to you, that's perfectly fine. There is some brioche (the neckband) but again if you've never tried it before, that's ok too. I want feedback on ALL areas of the pattern, including how easy it is to learn new skills! |
