Job type | Test knit |
Description | The pattern will be distributed sometime 6-10 October. This pattern consists of a center cable in Main Color that is surrounded by stripes in various Contrast Colors, added with intarsia technique. The number of contrasting colors is up to the maker. It can be a great way to use up scraps. I used yarn weights varying from 266m to 400m per 100g. The pattern is written for one size but it’s easily adjusted by adjusting the number of Chart repeats. The unstretched wingspan of my sample is 115 cm/46 inches and center height is 60 cm/24 inches, which is the size that the yardage is based on: MC: 161 m / 177 yards CC total: 380 m / 416 yards Count on 65-70 m/ 71-77 yards per CC if you use 6 different colors. (I used 5 and one of them doubled)
