Chantry Sweater

Job type Test knit
Description

The Chantry Sweater is a seamless, textured yoke sweater which is knit top-down and in the round. The sweater can be knit with a classic neckband or a folded one depending on preference. Charts are provided for the textured yoke. After the textured yoke is complete short rows are worked to raise the back neck and ensure a comfortable fit.  The body of the sweater is worked from the wrong side in knit stitch; the sleeves are also worked in this manner. Chantry is designed to be worn with approximately 4-6 inches/ 10-15cm of positive ease. Instructions are provided for classic tapered sleeves and bishop sleeves. The sweater can be knit in any Aran weight yarn or in a DK weight yarn held together with a fluffy lace weight yarn such as brushed Suri Alpaca.
