Secret Scarf / Cowl 

Looking for testers for a simple color changing rectangular knit scarf that highlights the beauty of any yarn! it was created with hand spinners in mind. The pattern includes options for a Fingering - DK weight scarf or worsted weight cowl.

P.s. Not the final name yet, but it’s a secret worth keeping. πŸ’•

Fingering weight: Regular / Large scarf: 60–90β€³ (152–229 cm) long Γ— 6.5–7β€³ (16.5–17 cm) wide

Sport/DK weight: Regular / Large scarf: 65–86.5β€³ (165–220 cm) long Γ— 6–7β€³ (15–18 cm) wide

Worsted weight cowl: 20–24β€³ (50–60 cm) circumference Γ— 6.5–7β€³ (16.5–17 cm) 

The finished size will vary slightly depending on gauge, yarn choice, and blocking.

Gauge Light Fingering - Fingering weight: 10 knit Γ— 10 purl : 24 sts Γ— 33 rows = 4” (10cm). Sport - Dk weight: 8 knit Γ— 8 purl: 22 sts Γ— 28 rows = 4” (10cm). Worsted weight Cowl: 10 knit Γ— 10 purl: 20 sts x 29 rows = 4” (10cm).

If you know how to knit, purl, slip 2 turn, and weave in your ends you should be good. 

The cowl does ask for a provisional cast on, and finished with Kitchener stitch grafting

Worsted weight Cowl: 4.5 mm / US 7

Tapestry needle for weaving in ends.

1x Cardboard piece (for wrapping)

About 10g of any yarn weight for tassels
