| Description | The Daily Raglan Crewneck - Knit Version - is constructed top down in the round using a raglan construction. The yoke and body are constructed first, then the sleeves are added, and finally the collar is worked. Long tail cast on (or preferred cast on method), sewn bind off (or preferred bind off method), knit, purl, German short rows, left lifted increase (LLI), and right lifted increase (RLI) are used in the pattern. If you can work these stitches/methods, then you can make this garment. This pattern is not a standard written pattern. It is a new, innovative way of writing a pattern that allows the maker to entirely customize the garment for whomever you're making for using any yarn in your stash or whatever yarn you'd like. The pattern can be made for infants through adults and instructions are included to customize body circumference, yoke depth, arm width, body length, arm length, and collar type. Note: Taking body measurements and making a gauge swatch are required for this pattern. The pattern will not work without doing these two things. You must agree to taking body measurements and making a guage swatch to be chosen for testing. Yarn amounts for sizes infant through 5X with gauges from 3 sts per inch through 7 sts per inch for each size are included in the pattern. You'll need stitch markers, a flexible fabric measuring tape, a hard ruler, an embroidery needle, and needles that are appropriate for your yarn choice and body circumference. Information on choosing needles is included in the instructions. |
