5.1

Job type Test knit
Description

I like unexpected combos. Tradition calls for cables to be knit with super-sleek yarns for maximum stitch definition, but I loved the juxtaposition of fuzzy tweedy bits with these sharp twisted stitch cables. The combo is the ultimate in coziness.

Knit in the round from top to bottom, this cowl uses I-Cord edging for extra polish. The cowl gently increases down the center cable spine for a great drape. The end result is that you’ll look amazing with zero styling effort.

Requirements from the maker

Testers will be required to:

  • Complete the cowl by the deadline of March 7, 2020. This includes finishing and weaving in all ends and blocking the cowl.
  • Take a photograph or photographs of the finished cowl. PHOTO QUALITY IS IMPORTANT. Photo should not be blurry or poorly lit. Please use natural light and model on a human if possible.
  • Complete the feedback survey associated with this test. You will need to know your exact yardage, so please DO NOT VOLUNTEER for this test if you cannot provide this data.
  • Complete a project page on Ravelry - use tester code TEST-KK-DCR2EJ in place of the pattern name. If you do not have a Ravelry account, you may skip this step.
  • Contact the designer immediately with issues so we can resolve them. Please also do not make any modifications without prior approval. (I usually say yes, but I want to know in advance what data I might miss out on with the change.)

Please do not post on social media like Instagram or Facebook. You may, however, create a Ravelry project page for this test.

Rewards from the designer

The designer is offering discounted or free pattern(s) to testers

Testers who successfully complete all the test requirements (finishing by the deadline, providing accurate yardage, following the instructions to NOT make modifications without prior approval, creating a Ravelry project page, adding a good photo there, and completing the feedback survey in Yarnpond) by the deadline will receive the final pattern in their Ravelry libraries or emailed to them as a .pdf, whichever they prefer. Successful testers will also be able to choose one other published Kino Knits pattern as a thank you gift, to be delivered the same way.

Your rating in Yarnpond will also depend on these same requirements.

Thanks! I can't wait to work with you!
