Memphis: Toesies & Footsies

Job type Test knit
Description

I consider the Toesies Easy, except for the GSR.

This is a set of toesies (toe coverings) and a footie all exploring short rows.  It is part of a larger set of patterns.  I am not a sock knitter; I'm mostly interested in the short rows, and getting a heel that fits and is comfortable to wear. HandiworksLtd is my sample knitter and assistant and she is a sock knitter.

The Toesies have short row shaping on the bottom to make the bottom longer than the top and provide a better fit.  I have added in different ribbing options.  The length is adjustable.  There are 7 sizes.

Currently the Footsie is in stockinette, but I will be adding in ribbing options as well before Test finishes.

Everyone who tests gets the whole pattern and you can make other projects than what you commit to.

Finished measurements

Each size of the Footsie is customizable in length, so you can make a hybrid size.  I would like to know your changes, but I don't care what they are.

There will be variations on the Toesies and the Footsie, so you can choose which one you do.  The measurements I'm giving you are for the stockinette versions, with slight variations with ribs in the body.

Basic Toesies Top Length

3" / 7.6 cm (3.25" / 8.3 cm) (3.5" / 8.9 cm) (3.75" / 9.5 cm) (4" / 10.2 cm)

Basic Toesies Sole Length
